In an effort to make sure all community members have their needs met, Legacy End of Life operates on a sliding scale service-exchange that considers socio-economic status in the fee for doula services. Those with greater access to financial security are encouraged to pay full price so that those with less access can receive services for free or at a discount.
Legacy End of Life prioritizes end of life services for BIPOC who are statistically less likely to have access to holistic death care. Legacy EOL envisions and advocates for a future where all BIPOC experience a “good death”.
